These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of lifei2iq.com (the “Website”) and any related online services provided by LIFEI2IQ (collectively, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Website or Services, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Website or Services.

These Terms are a general template and should be reviewed by legal counsel—especially if you offer paid subscriptions, enterprise services, or regulated/professional services.

2)  Eligibility and authority

You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

3)  Acceptable use

You agree to use the Website and Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You will not:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
    • Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of the Website, systems, or networks
    • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system without authorisation
    • Interfere with or disrupt the Website or Services (including via malware or harmful code)
    • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, data, or systems
    • Use automated means (bots/scrapers) to access the Services except where explicitly permitted
    • Infringe the intellectual property or other rights of LIFEI2IQ or any third party

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or your use poses a security risk.

4)  Accounts (if applicable)

If the Services include account creation:

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
    • You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
    • You agree to provide accurate and current information.

5)  Intellectual property

The Website and Services (including software, text, graphics, logos, and design) are owned by LIFEI2IQ or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, LIFEI2IQ grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Website and Services for lawful purposes.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Website or Services except where permitted by law or with LIFEI2IQ’s written permission.

6)  User content (if applicable)

If you submit, upload, or otherwise provide content through the Services (“User Content”):

  • You represent you have the rights to submit the User Content.
    • You grant LIFEI2IQ a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, and display User Content solely as needed to operate, provide, maintain, and improve the Services.

You remain responsible for your User Content and for ensuring it does not violate laws or third-party rights.

7)  Third-party websites and services

The Website may contain links to third-party sites or services. LIFEI2IQ does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

8)  Disclaimers

The Website and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LIFEI2IQ disclaims all warranties and conditions, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of

merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

LIFEI2IQ does not warrant that the Website or Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

No professional advice: Any information on the Website is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.

9)      Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • LIFEI2IQ will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or

punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Website or Services.

  • LIFEI2IQ’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Website or Services will not exceed the greater of CAD $100 and the total fees (if any) paid by you to LIFEI2IQ for the Services in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so portions of this section may not apply to you.

10)   Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LIFEI2IQ and its directors, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses

(including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • your use of the Website or Services,
    • your User Content (if applicable), or
    • your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

11)   Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website or Services at any time if:

  • you breach these Terms,
    • your use poses a security or operational risk, or
    • we are required to do so by law.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive.

12)   Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of

Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

You agree that any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will be brought in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, and you submit to their jurisdiction.

13)   General terms

  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
    • No waiver: A failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.
    • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without LIFEI2IQ’s consent. LIFEI2IQ may assign these Terms as part of a corporate transaction.
    • Entire agreement: These Terms, together with any policies referenced (including the Privacy Policy), constitute the entire agreement regarding your use of the Website and Services.
